Day 2: Player Movement, Background Effects


In addition to creating an airplane, today was focused on getting the basic player movement, launch from the airplane, and animations working, as well as some basic parallax background effects. Clouds in the background move fast with the plane, and slowly comes to match the player's downward trajectory. Tomorrow will probably be an art day, creating things to run into/collect, like other skydivers, birds, clouds, whatever other crazy shit might be up in the sky. Suggestions welcome!
